Earlier in the year I completed my biggest project since starting Caitlin Hope.
When I was approached by a children’s hospital to create a collection of artworks for their hallways I jumped at the opportunity. The brief was fun and colourful art that told the Christian creation story. What followed was a collection filled with nods towards the creation of the ocean and the creatures living in it, the land with the plants and flowers that cover it, humanity and our ability to be creative and words of hope and love.
It was incredibly special creating these artworks knowing where they would be hung. I hope they bring light, warmth and smiles to the families that walk those hallways and encourage them the keep persevering through the difficult circumstances that have brought them to the hospital.
